Torticollis is commonly seen when an infant tilts his/her head to one side. Position in utero, sleeping, and feeding can all relate to asymmetry in neck muscles. We facilitate strengtheing and stretching during play and positioning tips for feeding and sleeping.

Selective eaters can result from a variety of reasons including sensory avoidance, low oral muscle tone and a weak tongue muscle. Prematurity or breech positioning often correlate to picky eaters as well. We also work with children transitioning from a g-tube to oral feeds.
Sensory dysregulation relates to touch, sound, smell, sight, and/or taste being inconsistently over or under responsive. Vestibular input may also vary in how the child accepts movement. We teach strategies using proprioceptive input and other methods to help regulation for optimal arousal state.

We work with a variety of neuromuscular and genetic disorders that affect coordination, balance, and strength that challenges a child's gross and fine motor skills. Overall mobility and fine motor skills for self-care are all practiced for optimal independence. Adaptive equipment, orthotics and kinesiotaping are resources we can help you with!

Often children express a delay in an area or multiple areas of development that benefit from professional intervention. Your child does not need to have a diagnosis to benefit from therapy. We evaluate multiple areas of development and often make referrals to other specialities when needed.

The prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorders and ADHD have grown exponentially. We are quite familar with the social, language, and behavioral challenges that may be difficult to work through. We believe that every child deserves opportunities to have friendships, participate in social events, and gain as much independence as possible in life.
